The Perfect Sphere™ Tool is a patented sphere and concave turning system engineered for precision woodturning on most lathes. Its heavy-duty, modular design allows turners to create accurate spheres and concave forms with repeatable results and professional control.

Designed for flexibility, the system produces spheres from 1 inch to 14 inches in diameter on lathes ranging from 10" to 25" swing capacity.

Precision Sphere Turning System

Unlike traditional scraping methods, the Perfect Sphere™ uses a 6mm carbide cutter that actively cuts material instead of scraping. This produces smoother surfaces, cleaner geometry, and longer-lasting cutter performance.

Lathe Compatibility & Geometry Control

The system includes an adjustable mounting base that fits most lathe bed widths. The only lathe-specific component is the riser post, which must match your lathe swing height.

Maximum sphere size is determined by:

Lathe swing height minus 4 inches = maximum sphere diameter

Example: A 12" lathe produces an 8" maximum sphere.
